ESOL Standard 1: "English Learners communicate for Social and Instructional purposes within the school setting. ESOL Standard 5: "English Learners communicate information, ideas,and concepts necessary for academic success in the content area of Social Studies." Monday- Test Analysis & Read 3.1 and work on the Review questions Tuesday- Read and Discuss Guided reading 3.1 and continue working on the review questions Wednesday- Take notes on the Constitution and work on Vocabulary Thursday- Finish reading 3.1 and finish review questions Friday- Finish Notes ESOL- A. Introduce "House" topic/ make cards 2. Grammar Introduce "Prepositions" Wednesday- A. 1. Prepare to Read:"Key Vocabulary", "Literary Analysis", and "Clarify Vocabulary" B. 1. Rosetta Stone 2. "House" writing activity Thursday- A. Begin Reading and Discussing Skins B. 1. "House" reading Phase 1. 2. Utilizing Prepositions Friday- A. Finish Reading and Discussing Skins B. "House" reading Phase 3 & 4 2. Use prepositions with "House"
